Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Duties:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images of specific areas of a patient's body.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Previous experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Shift: 5x8s days with call (to include weekends), exact shift times discussed in interview Required credentials: ARRT (N) or NMTCB, IN license. scrubs: pewter Equipment: Siemens ECAM, Siemens Symbia, GE Ventri EMR: Allscripts RIS: Allscripts Sunrise PACS: Sectra Provide services to outpatients, inpatients, and ED. Patients ages vary from young adult to geriatric. Variety of exams. Assist with minimally invasive breast procedures and OR.
