If you're tired of the dog eat dog environment like most sales or Admissions departments, Caris is the place for you! The ideal candidate for this role must feel comfortable building relationships with others and helping them navigate the preadmission process.
This position is a Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with one evening requirement until 6:
30pm.

The Admissions Advisor works directly with prospective students to guide them as they consider Caris College for their postsecondary educational experience.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
Customer Service An Admissions Advisor will field incoming phone calls from potential students, etc.
In this role, the Advisor is expected to provide prompt and accurate service to the caller.
The Advisor will also make outbound calls to prospective students who request information online and respond to social media inquiries.
Advisors will also schedule on-campus tours for prospective students and their guests - showcasing classrooms, introducing students to program staff, etc.
Caris College prides itself on creating a pressure-free environment and expects all Admissions Advisors to create an atmosphere where both students and parents feel comfortable when touring our campus.
Product/Industry Knowledge In addition to providing superb customer service, an Admissions Advisory must be knowledgeable of the programs offered at CarisCollege as well as those offered at other institutions to be able to accurately explain the programs offered at Caris College and field questions regarding the industry as a whole, etc.
Reporting/Follow-Through Admissions Advisors will be responsible for keeping up with their prospective students including but not limited to:
weekly check in phone calls, making sure all paperwork is complete or have a plan in place to retrieve missing documents, reminding prospective students about meetings with Admissions/Financial Aid/Orientation.
Advisors must also keep notes regarding prospective students for recordkeeping.
Admissions Advisors are expected to report enrollment status updates for their prospective students and assist them with scheduling follow-up appointments with the Financial Aid Department, etc.
Skills/Requirements Organization and communication skills are required in order to be a successful, as is the ability to be flexible and multitask.
Attention to detail is essential.
1-3 years of related experience is preferred.
Internal sales experience a plus.
College degree preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
