com/careers/ Position Summary This position is responsible to supervise the ILA customer service and order processing functions for legacy customer orders.
Support the sales team regarding customer service-related functions such as but not limited to, customer set up and pricing set up within ILA's operating system.
Responsible to provide an outstanding customer service experience to ILA's domestic customers.
Responsible in the customer service areas for the management of daily maintenance regarding safety, efficiency, and quality of operations.
Essential Job Functions Customer Service Domestic Supervise all customer service associates - domestic.
Track appropriate key performance indicators to measure effectiveness of the customer service team.
Lead improvements in all customer service-related areas.
Supervise major customer service functions such as SAP Terms, customer set up, order entry, order verification, order confirmation, ASN's, special customer requirements, and invoicing.
Supervise the customer web-based ordering systems, acting as administrator for customer websites and portals.
Primary contact with customers to enroll users and control access.
Set up administration.
Management of the monitoring system.
Training of ILA associates on the operation of the systems.
Customer Service Call Center Supervise customer service department which processes all sales orders for ILA's legacy business (the order processing and shipment of ILA's product to customer factories, distribution centers, and distributors in the U.
S.
and Canada).
Supervise the process of order receipt for orders via EDI, phone, email, and fax.
Supervise the monitoring process and personnel assignment of the dedicated legacy customer service email accounts.
Sales Support Work directly with the sales team to understand customer requirements as they relate to order entry, delivery times, special shipping requirements and providing what is needed to support the customer base.
Provide information to the sales team as needed.
Assist sales team with questions regarding specific customers' service requirements.
Miscellaneous Duties Ensure customer service and communications are accurate, timely, effective, professional, and are representative of ILA's goal to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Supervise customer service-controlled documents to meet ISO/TS 16949 quality management system requirements.
Responsible for root cause investigation and implementation of corrective actions related to customer service operations.
Work closely with the scheduling team for customer product availability, shipping date, and delivery date.
Support the A/R team for collection activities.
Responsible for ILA freight vouchering process.
Responsible for customer service team personnel management including selection of new associates and manages OTJ and cross training of customer service team associates.
Responsible for associate Paycom entries, vacation schedule, and department schedule.
Perform regular competency assessment of associates' performance with performance reviews.
With assistance from HR, disciplines associate for violation of company policy.
In conjunction with other plant management, makes recommendations and implements necessary equipment maintenance, changes, upgrades, or additions.
Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience preferred.
Experience 10
years' experience supervision and management of customer service personnel.
