Job Description We are looking for an experienced and talented Production Supervisor or Sr. Team Lead to join our Jeffersonville team. Revere Plastics Systems is an industry-leading custom injection molding company, with over 50 years of experience and remained in the top 100 plastic injection molders with presses ranging in 25 - 3,300 tons for 25 years. In this role you will ensure our manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by monitoring employees and organizing workflow. Our supervisors are an integral part of our business.You should be able to successfully manage and lead a team to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs. The goal is to ensure our production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a timely and profitable manner. This will be a second or third shift position.
Responsibilities: Meets deadlines and production expectations with little or no supervision, and directs and assigns work to the hourly production personnel to coordinate production activities. Involvement in hiring, discipline, terminations and other supervisory responsibilities. Knows, understands, communicates and facilitates a safe work culture, ensuring compliance with all company safety/environmental and housekeeping policies. Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Communicates with key members of the team regarding production schedule and resolves issues that may affect the planned priorities. Monitors employee performance to ensure quality and production standards are met and completes performance reviews. Assures employees are trained to adequately perform assigned tasks. Builds and maintains morale in the workforce and maintains a good attitude and working relationship with co-workers and management to enhance morale. Skills/Competencies: Experience as a Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Cell Lead or similar role. Safety first mindset. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates respect for team members in all personal interactions and conversations. Comfortable having difficult conversations. Teamwork/Team Leadership; must be a team player willing to support other departments. Organizational and leadership skills, including high personal integrity, ethical principles and a positive/can do attitude. Customer Focus (internal and external). Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Drives to excel. Problem-solving skills. Dependable; good attendance history. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Position is located in a temperature controlled manufacturing environment, and may involve physical activity such as bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and standing for long periods of time, in addition to lifting up to 30lbs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
