The Clerk's office administers all court records and filings, processes and issues documents on court cases, collects and distributes any money related to court cases, processes and issues marriage licenses, and performs more functions within the court system.
The Deputy Clerk is responsible for completing a variety of file preparation, data entry, and public service duties to ensure the proper processing and filing of Court documents.
The person in this position must be available to answer phones and assist the public by providing information on court related topics.
A Deputy Clerk must pay close attention to detail while entering data into the court software, must have the ability to learn legal terminology, and should be able to perform a variety of clerical duties.

The Deputy Clerk will report to the Chief Deputy Clerk and the County Clerk.
Usual days and hours are Monday - Friday, 8:
30 am to 4:
30 pm.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
A 2 year college degree if preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
