Essential Functions:
o Verify patients' insurance coverage and benefits by contacting insurance companies via phone, online portals, or other communication channels.
o Obtain and document accurate information regarding patient demographics, insurance plans, and policy numbers.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance plans, policies, and procedures to facilitate efficient verification and billing processes.
o Process good faith estimates.
o Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing concerns and inquiries related to insurance coverage and billing.
o Handles inbound calls from locations, patients, etc.
with general insurance questions.
