As an Online Chat Sales Representative, you will use your sales abilities, customer skills, and positive attitude to respond to inbound chats. Your typing and computer skills, combined with our paid training and expertise, will help you perform the following:
Identify customer needs; review and update activity on accounts
Resolve customer issues in a prompt, professional and friendly manner
Promote and sell products and services to meet goals
Handle multiple chats and meet average chat length expectations
Attend training to update product knowledge
Recommend new procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
Experience using Windows or MAC Operating Systems, MS Office programs, internet browsers, and strong knowledge of digital media.
Excellent written communication skills, troubleshooting, reporting and logical thinking skills.
Ability to effectively handle customer problems in a professional and courteous manner.
Strong understanding of digital media and related technologies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; may require holiday and weekends and must be easily adaptable to change.
Prefer 2 years of call center/customer service support.
Previous sales experience preferred.
