The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of Heartland applications, specifically web top applications. The analyst will work closely with business analysts, project managers, developers, and database administrators to develop testing scenarios based on stakeholder requirements. Additionally the analyst will work with users to scrutinize existing applications in search for bugs and potential areas of improvement. Lastly the analyst will be responsible for helping to communicate IT enhancements.
Design, develop and write test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
Develop and complete unit, system, regression, scalability and load testing.
Provide feedback to Product Owner regarding gaps in business requirements.
Provide feedback to developers concerning issues discovered during testing.
Develop and train others in defining functional requirements using case and other modeling tools/techniques.
Develop and train users/trainers on system enhancements and releases
Develop necessary documentation to support implementation of systems.
Other duties as assigned.

Position requires knowledge typically associated with a high school diploma or equivalent plus some professional/technical training.
Knowledge of computer systems definition, analysis, and testing practices.
2+ years experience as a QA Analyst or equivalent required
2-3 Years experience in Bankcard Industry preferable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
