MedVenture Technology is a local, innovative, high growth company with a collaborative, high performance work environment. We develop and manufacture minimally invasive, single use medical devices in the endoscopy, cardiovascular, neurovascular, and urology markets. The products we develop and manufacture are typically market disruptive and displace higher cost procedures. We currently have 250
employees and are looking for a Production Manager to help us grow the business. Our engineers work on multiple products and product platforms and ensure that or products meet or exceed quality guidelines and expectations.
We are currently hiring for a Production Manager who:
Develop and manage professional staff
Manage customers
Continuously improve manufacturing
Basic Responsibilities
Develop direct reports
Determine employees career goals and required development areas using a succession planning process.
Communicate the vision of the Operations department and its role in the company vision.
Ensure Safety and Emergency Response policies are followed and metrics posted.
Work with Product Development to improve the transition of projects into production. Help identify the proper cell or if a new cell is required for the product in manufacturing. As required, work with Product Development to establish goals in their charter before the PD team is released back into PD to include: Provide overall leadership for the manufacturing cell(s) and the associated supporting operations.
Create a culture in the manufacturing organization that centers on: Ensure all productions lines are managed in a lean manner and employees understand that and act accordingly. Unless specifically prohibited by a client, specific lean actions include: Improve Quality.
Focus on product, process, and paperwork quality
Ensure materials are managed in a lean manner.
Establish metrics and ensure that the buyer/planner drives the organization and our suppliers towards an increased number of components on a kanban system.
Work with the Strategic Procurement Planner to minimize the number of suppliers on the Approved Supplier List to help maximize the benefits to the supply chain.
Assist the Director of Operations with plans to handle expansion of manufacturing capacities.
Work with the Director of Operations to ensure the quotation process for ongoing production engineering changes is functioning.
Use appropriate metrics to ensure the organization is performing at the highest level.
Required Qualifications
4 year technical degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of manufacturing management experience or equivalent.
Well-rounded technical experience in medical product development and manufacturing disciplines.
FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485 and design control experience preferred.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio
Growtth Lean Systems Green Belt certification is required.
Physical Demands

Physical Requirements; Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move objects

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
