Onsite HR/Staffing Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:
o Manage temporary employees
o Assist in maintaining sound client relationships and partnering with HR, the executive management team production supervisors and production leads
o Assist in handling employee relations and counsel temporary employees, as needed
o On-floor coaching of temporary associates, and inspection for quality and safety
o Provide orientation for new hires
o Support the onsite manager in coordinating with the Risk department regarding injuries and workers compensation
o Achieve staffing objectives and needs as defined by business unit
o Create effective mechanisms to attract qualified candidates to maintain the objectives of site recruitment strategy
o Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants and enter corresponding information into database
o Maintain corporate and client guidelines and controls to ensure compliance
o Accept new candidates' applications and enter into the system
o Assist in processing of weekly payroll
o Track attendance, and run weekly reports
o Other duties/projects as assigned by the corporate office and/or the onsite manager
Position Requirements:
o 1 to 2 years Recruiting/Staffing experience preferred
o Good attendance record
o Reliable transportation
o Flexibility with schedule with mandatory overtime at times (as determined by manager)
o Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
o Employment contingent to successful completion of: criminal background, drug screening and behavioral/skills
assessment
Technical Requirements:
o Advanced level Microsoft Office Suite skills
o HRIS System, Payroll systems or Staffing industry system knowledge a plus
Education:
o Bachelors or equivalent experience


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
